  11.     -fixed a few special TeX-characters
  12.      (german sz, danish ae...) in init.tex

  14.         -new keyword in surface: NOBIGFILE
  15.          prevents surface from writing bigfiles
  16.          to the disk. An extreme speed enhancement.

  18.     -fixed bug in arc/narc functions in gle_*
  19.      (all behave now like gle_ps,
  20.          correct drawing of circles, arcs, boxes
  21.          in a translate/rotate environment)

  25.         -fixed bug in (yx)axis negate

  27.     -trailing slash in GLE_TOP no more required
